今年の8月だけで、多くの結核感染が報告されています。これらの感染報告からも分かる通り結核は過去の病気ではありません。

結核に感染するとどうなるのか。

結論から言えば、感染したからと言って必ず発病するわけではありません。

多くの場合、免疫が働き結核菌を抑え込みます。

しかし、体力が低下したり、他の病気にかかって免疫機能が働かなくなるなどして抵抗力が落ちると、抑え込まれていた結核菌が再び活動をはじめ、発病する可能性があります。

恐ろしいのは、何十年と言う長い年月を経ても再び活動を始めることがあるということです。

結核の初期症状は風邪の症状ととても似ており、自覚し難いと言われています。

病気は早期発見が治療の鍵です。発見には検査の簡単な検査薬が必要でしょう。

The scariest thing is then they keep themselves hidden for many years.

The first symptom of tuberculosis is similar to the symptom of cold, so it is difficult to take notice the symptom. 

Early detection is the best way to cure a disease, so we need quick and easy test.
