The propose is the campus of Osaka University should be returned to the Nakanoshima where is near the downtown of Osaka.
In the past the Dept. of medical had a hospital at Nakanoshima, there is the land of Osaka University.
However, I know it is too costly to implement, but I believe that is ideal one.
I try to point out the problem of Osaka University’s campus and I would imagine the situation if it was moved to Nakanoshima.
Basically I don’t mind the cost because it is only imagination.
1, About commute
I think this is one of the big problem for us.
We don’t have good access to campus especially Suita and Minoo.
Osaka University aimed suburban campus so they had to prepare enough parking like KAIST.
However, new building is established at a blank space used as parking. As a result, there are many parking refugees.
It would be better, if the student ID became IC card and used as a free pass.
基本的に阪大のキャンパスは中之島に戻すべきだと考えています。
その昔阪大の医学部は中之島に病院を持っていたと聞きます。その場所にもう一度キャンパスを戻すのです。
もちろん、それがコスト的に相当難しいことは分かっていますが、それが理想的な案だと信じているのです。
今後このブログでは、現状の阪大の問題点を挙げて、もしも阪大のキャンパスが中之島に移行したらどう解決できるかという思考実験というか妄想実験を行っていきたいと思います。
妄想なので基本的にコストは度外視です。
阪大のキャンパスは電車のアクセスがあまりよくありません。豊中はいいのですが、吹田は中心地からはなれておりだいぶきついです。箕面なんて目も当てられません。
郊外型のキャンパスを指向したのだから、吹田や箕面には大学が充分な駐車場や駐輪場を用意するべきだと思います。
しかし現状では空き地があれば、どんどん新しい建物が建てられていきます。
それらの空き地は便宜上駐車場として使われていたものが多く、結果として駐車場難民がたくさんできています。小さな駐輪場でさえその煽りを受けてどんどん駐輪禁止となっているのです。
そうなった場合新しく指定される駐車場・駐輪場は遠くはなれた場所にある共同駐車場もしくはキャンパスの端です。
中之島にキャンパスが移れば全員公共交通機関で問題ないでしょう。日本の都市の公共交通機関の発達度は目を見張るモノがあります。
中之島には京阪が伸びたので、京阪沿線からの通学もラクになります。
学生証がICカードとなってバス代がタダとかだったら最高ですね。
