I don’t know which is true that aged society need good care setting or good care setting make aged society, but Japanese care setting is getting worse little by little. A one of the big reason of it is of course aged society. It is the lack of medical staff. Medical technology has been developing but the importance of human resource has been increasing rather than not changed. The most desirable solution is very high functional and very low cost robot. If they could replace the medical staff, the society would develop. (Regrettably, it would suffer from the lack of employment, but I don’t discuss about it here.) It can be imagined that the figure of the robot have many kinds, for example wakamaru a humanoid robot that works as a nurse or care robot directly and nano robot that works for human health invisibly. To achieve these robots, I think we need technology innovation and patient social science.
