Destination of Japan

To catch up is easier than to overcome. Therefore, Japan could catch up with advanced economies in 1960s. However, Japan have never overcome them.
Japan stands at crossroad now. There are decreasing of finance and population, and competitive power is getting low. The new leader of Japan is merely speaking like a bird and don’t have strong leader ship, so we can’t believe him deeply. For these reasons, new generation must become stronger than now and we need following things.
・Enrich the country, strengthen the people.
(It means never military! I think Japanese have to get mental strength.)
・Lead the nuclear arms reduction.
(Japan, the victim of nuclear only can state its horribleness, so it is mission for Japan)
・Brush up the Made in Japan.
(Recently made in Japan has no mean, because almost Japanese companies imitate Apple, Amazon and Google. New generation have to make something new. )
I think we should do above three things and become a respected country. If we can’t do that, we will probably be slave nation of other countries.

Everyone can be a hero and every one can be a devil. It is evaluated by subjective view point. The important thing is living with full power, it means fighting others.

To become independent from authority is indeed extraordinary thing.

He taught how to fight without violence.
Wars must be removed, but I think human beings must remember to fight with something.
If we forget it, it means we are livestock.

Weak people depend on authority. It means the current state is affirmed.
Strong people fight with authority. To fight means no satisfaction with the current state.
Fighting without violence is means by strongest people.

They were only 17 years old.

They were victim of crazy mission.
I don’t know their history in detail, but I can understand their chagrin slightly.
Now in Japan, there is a small revolution. Japanese have to study Japanese history and its relationship with other countries at that time deeply and precisely, and then we must find a path in which we should follow.

Now I’m writing my master thesis, so I have little time to write this blog. Then, I want to write short article about historical persons. He is Sanai Hashimoto. I want to study his story deeply because my professor respect him. He is not famous and popular in modern Japan but there are a little people who are inherited his thought.

The Japan’s position in global society -from Haiti’s earthquake-

I heard that Japan is getting poor in comparison to the world because GNI was the second or third in 2002, but now is the 16th. Moreover, recent economic depression damaged Japanese finance. Therefore, there are some people who complain about the Aid to Haiti. I think they are wrong. Hannah Arendt said following effect like that “If people noticed only their surroundings, it would be a start of a dark age. I learned this words in my professor‘s class. She is completely right. As might be expected, Japan is much richer than Haiti. ODA or other aid from Japan is natural thing. It’s sure that Japan’s ODA is too expensive. Japanese government always seem to be thoughtless. Therefore, Japan have to think “what is aid ? what’s the thing they really need?” and establish a strong vision. I believe it will cut up Japan’s future.

I checked two news(1 and 2). These news made me happy because I can feel proud of them and Japan. I don’t check but it’s sure that many rescue party from many countries go to Haiti, it’s good for them. I believe that they are heros. You know that from fiction in boyhood, a person who can tackle other people’s very difficult problem at the risk of her or his life is real hero. I know it’s very difficult, but someday I want to be. My goal of my life is to collect glory rather than status and to get knowledge rather than money.

Social justice and design

There is no permanent absolute justice, so it is very difficult to be justice or to have justness. Therefore, design or to design a thing is very difficult. This is just the crucial difference between design and art. Art clearly reflects the era and get the hearts of people, and it persist personal justice, it means artists only follow own mind. On the other hand, since design is a solution it needs to get a social justice as well as personal justice, it means designers solve simultaneous equations which have tremendous amounts of unknowns. I think the essence of design is summarized in here.
