Diabetes disease 1

I’m really interested in diabetes disease because my grand parents is suffering from many complication probably due to that. Moreover my father too. It may show I have possibilities that I’ll be able to get that disease in my future genetically because my looks like my father than my mother.
Even if above story depends on only my unnecessary feelings of fear, the fear of diabetes disease never changes. It can be connect to the three major causes of death easily. However, people can hardly understand its dangerousness. It’s because it depends on daily habit or lifestyle. People can’t change it easily, if they know it’s bad to health.
In case of me, I can’t make my sleeping time more long, if I know short sleeping is bad to me. I have to do a lot of things, I need more time in one day, so I can’t help it from my all mind. Everyone thinks so. Their all habit can’t be helped by them.

What’s "Ambient" ?

Do you know means of the word “Ambient”? I studied it came into use as musical genre “ambient music” named by Brian Eno who is English musician. 
Descriptions from English Wikipedia, “Ambient music” is defined as like musical genre that focuses largely on the timbral characteristics of sounds, often organized or performed to evoke an “atmospheric”, “visual” or “unobtrusive” quality. From my image to this genre, it’s slow tempo, without lyric and like easy listening. “Ambient” is an English word, so for me, a Japanese guy, not native English speaker, it’s unnatural sound. Therefore, I associated the means of “Ambient” with the feelings of “Ambient music”. However, still it’s vague. I need to define it properly for using it in my logic.

Team’s DNA

On the other hand, Barcelona’ coach, Josep Guardiola, I don’t think that he has strong leadership like Mourinho(Of course I know he is carisma in Barcelona but I think Mourinho is in another level.)
However, he has Barcelona’s DNA, because he played there for 17 years. It means more than he knows the team, he has inside. As people familiar with Euro soccer know, Barcelona is embodying its dream. Its pass soccer is in different level from other teams. This result depends on coach’s mind, he has Barcelona’s DNA, so he can make current team.
In case of him, I guess he can’t make such as strong team like current Barcelona if he changes the team. 

Arrogant leader

Real Madrid’s coach, Jose Mourinho is called arrogant leader because he calls himself “Special One”. Anyhow, he shows arrogant attitude in mass media.
However, he doesn’t seem to be seen so from his team’s member. Many star players in big club he led respect him at all. I don’t know a football player who claims him.
In fact, he has two faces for his team’s members and for media, other teams and outside. It’s really easy to understand his skill as a coach from his actual achievement, but I think he has strong point more than skill, it’s leadership. His strong leadership tide team as one, and make strong stream to win, championship. Moreover, the point that I think he is brilliant is he can do the same thing if he changes a team. It shows his real and essential leadership.

OPEN CAMPUS 2011

My presentation
We exhibited our professor’s works and held an orientation for high school students who want to enter the Osaka University in OPEN CAMPUS 2011.
I made my presentation to visitors all the while this event. I was in charge of advertising Osaka university, but I didn’t do that so much, rather than that, I stated “Don’t come Osaka university (without clear object)”. My points are simple, think yourself, look outside and act now only three points. They are similar to my elementary school soccer team’s principle.
From my experience, I think many Japanese people(high school students and parents especially mothers who have their young kids) evaluate that an university entrance examination determine whole human life. This fucking thinking way confines young teen’s possibility so much. The most important point that I think now is to understand own purpose and own role.
Many students listened me carefully. It’s my pleasure if they got a seed to think something different from the past.

Barcelona and Real Madrid

It’s not too much to say that these two teams are the most strongest soccer teams in the world. Members, popularity, history, money and coach are in excellent level, and they are fateful rivals.
From the viewpoint of leadership, these top two teams are really interesting because of the difference of their coach’s character. Barcelona’s coach is Josep Guardiola, he played for Barcelona long time and then he was idol of the team. On the other hand, Jose Mourinho, the coach of Real Madrid was not skillful soccer player. He hold a coach position in many big or small club. Contrasting their situation cause the way of expressing leadership, I guess.

There are many good leaders in the football industry because it’s the largest sports industry. Players, General managers and Coaches as I mentioned, they exercise leader ship from each position.
In the recent months, politicians are unreliable especially in Japan, so we can’t see them as a leaders. Therefore, people see Star player or Star coach as a hero.
I think team captain’s leadership and coach’s leadership is qualitatively different, as I stated previously. Therefore, in order to research what is leadership, I must think of them separately.
Currently my interest points coach’s leadership because, as you know, I’m a coach of elementary school soccer team. It’s the first experience in my life. That position needs totally different skill and mentality from past position. Really interesting.

Modern General

I think a chief coach of a soccer team is a modern general. It’s because soccer is one of the most strategical sports in the world. A high degree of freedom hide causes of events and a lot of members make it difficult to control a team.
General must be a leader, therefore they can be good examples for passionate leaders.
Especially, coaches in European football league are special, they are in really harsh situation. They have many games every year and many players are traded each other so team member is always not fixed.
A few coaches who keep on getting a result even in this situation, are genuine. They are good examples for studying what is leadership.

It means presentation skills are totally different.
I think there are two types of leaders. One is the first prosecutor the other is the largest visionist. Prosecutor is like a soccer team’s captain who shows his back to his teammates. Visionist is like a soccer team’s coach who decides everything and instead of that he or she has all responsibility. From this discussion I thought, for becoming visionist presentation skills are one of the most important skill. Leaders must make people obey his or her words. If two leaders are saying different opinion, judgement point is only presentation.
Their presentation slides are both too bad, but Masayoshi Son’s talking skill more than made up for it. It needs quick mind and mental speed because situation is always changing. Knowledge can help but essentially the most important point is habituation to that kinds of situation. Yoshito Hori was looked so nervous but Masayoshi Son was looked having confident.
I thought of ideas in order to get that kinds of skill. We will try to practice and show presentation again and again. My conclusion finally shows common things. However it’s important. for getting presentation skills and becoming new generation’s leader we must train hard over and over.

I watched discussion about Japanese energy policy on Friday. It gave me a thinking about what is important point for leaders.
Participants are Masayoshi Son, the CEO of Softbank and Yoshito Hori the president of globis. They talked on twitter to have a long enthusiastic discussion about Japanese energy policy, many follower took notice about it. It’s because Masayoshi Son said that he started a solar panel generation of electricity business for abandoning nuclear power generation. There are no problem that a rich man starts his own business, but there are a lot of arguments for and against. I think this fact demonstrate two things, the high level of Japanese people’s interest about energy policy and a doubt about solar panel generation. The better person than Yoshito Hori to have a discussion about Japanese energy policy may exist but others couldn’t say adverse opinion to abandoning nuclear power generation. Yoshito Hori stated openly and squarely his own opinion that agree to nuclear power generation, in this point he is really allegiance and honesty. However, he is strong leader of the most famous MBA school in Japan, so he had capacity to identify Japanese leader himself enough. In case of Masayoshi Son, we don’t need to identify him a Japan’s leader because it’s too much clear.
I was looking for this two leader’s conversation because I have interest about Japanese energy policy. In addition to that, I’m against to Masayoshi Son’s idea, so I wanted Yoshito Hori beat him with straight logic. It was regret but it never happened because of difference of qualities as a leader….
